Overview: The Golden Years Empowerment Program, offered by God's Vision Foundation, is designed to enhance the well-being and quality of life for senior citizens. Our program provides a supportive and engaging environment, promoting health, independence, and social connections.
Mission: To empower seniors through comprehensive support services, enriching activities, and community engagement, fostering independence and a high quality of life.
Key Components:
Health and Wellness: Regular health screenings, fitness classes, and nutritional counseling.
Social Activities: Weekly gatherings, excursions, arts and crafts, and hobby groups.
Educational Programs: Computer literacy, financial planning, and lifelong learning workshops.
Support Services: Counseling, transportation assistance, and access to social services.
Volunteer Opportunities: Community volunteer roles and mentorship programs.
Caregiver Support: Respite care, support groups, and caregiver training.
Partnerships: We are proud partners with both the Ohio Department of Aging and the National Caucus and Center on Black Aging, ensuring that our program aligns with state and national standards and provides culturally sensitive care and support for our seniors.
